Help us name our new rooms
We’ll be opening Holborn House in just a few weeks, and want to make sure that we give the spaces in the centre names which are memorable and also meaningful for our community.
That’s where you come in. We want your suggestions for room names for the main hall space and our new smaller group room.
We know that this can be tricky before you’ve been in the building. To help you get more of a feel for the rooms, here’s a list of (some) of the things that we’ll be doing in them:
Hall – Gymnastics, Under 5’s play sessions, Community lunches and events, Dance classes for children, adults and older people, sports activities such as children’s football, physical activity groups for adults and older adults.
Group room – Art groups for children, adults and older adults, creative writing, film and media projects, meetings and small group sessions, support groups.
There’s a basic floor plan of the spaces below to help.
We want you to think of names which reflect the people, place and activities that you associate with HCA past and present, from the Holborn Hall to the Bloomsbury room, we’re open to all suggestions!
How it works:
- Send your name suggestions by email to firstname.lastname@example.org or give us a call on 02074052370 (option 3) and leave a message.
- You can send as many suggestions as you like for each room
- Send us your name suggestions (let us know whether it’s for the hall or the group room) by Tuesday 6th April.
Our leadership team will then shortlist their top 5 suggestions for each space, and open it up to you for a public vote via our social media and regular group activities to decide our winner for each room.
Get your thinking caps on and get naming!
