Yoga For Women Classes
This autumn/winter we held a successful term of free women-only yoga classes at Bedford House. The 10 weeks of classes, running from September to December saw 20+ women from diverse backgrounds learn yoga for beginners.
Feedback from participants was positive, with attendees commenting “it has been really good for my health, mind and everything” and “I enjoyed this class very much. I would like to continue in the future if there are any more classes”.
With thanks to Westminster College for teaching the class. Holborn Community Association organised the classes as part of our Community Outreach programme. The programme aims to connect institutions, places and people with the local community, including the most marginalised.
After a successful run and positive feedback, our yoga classes will return in in January 2019 with a new teacher Yulia Glebova who is also running mindfulness classes for over 55’s at Millman Street.
