Millman Street Community Centre have been very busy delving into the Arts! Thursday mornings have been curative for our over 55s, as they go on their own creative journeys!

Each week is something different, for instance, in week two participants applied ink to surface, placed paper on top and drew intuitively to a series of sound recordings of nature. Then repeating the process with a new colour ink.

Melissa from Engage Here says:

” What can be seen as moments from conversations between the participant and the artist leading the workshop. They involve the culmination of genuine interaction, the learning of new artistic processes, movement, and the confidence of participants to go off on their own creative journeys.”
