Holborn Community Association is part of Warm Welcome Campaign, an initiative that they’re calling a ‘chain of hope’. It started by trying to keep people warm through the winter months, expanding into a hub of communities working together to keep people warm, safe and connected in their local areas.

We’re proud to host not one, but two warm welcome spaces: Millman Street Community Centre and Holborn House Community Centre.

This January, our Care Manager, Andrew, was honored to join the Reception hosted to celebrateWarm Welcome Week in Parliament with Lord Shaun Bailey of Paddington and MP Paul Davies.

The Parliamentary Reception brought together MPs, partners and community organisations to recognise the impact of Warm Welcome Spaces across the UK.

These spaces, like ours, play a vital role in creating connection, reducing isolation and supporting people through the winter months. It was wonderful to attend and celebrate this work.
