Salsa at Millman Street

Salsa at Millman Street

This Autumn at Millman street, the over 55’s are putting on their dancing shoes and getting fit with our free 4 week salsa classes led by Ewelina.

The free afternoon drop-in classes are suitable for beginners and are perfect introduction to try out salsa rhythms and dancing.

Salsa brings a host of physical benefits, including hand and eye-coordination and increased balance.  There are emotional benefits too.  Andrew Rogers, Older People Services Manager says “it’s been a brilliant few weeks with lots of fun and laughter.  The group says they find it inspiring and uplifting when learning the steps and listening to the music”.

Many thanks to our friends at the Arts Society Westminster for funding the classes.

The last salsa class is next week and will be returning in the New Year.  Still want to get dancing? Why not come to our over 55’s line dancing class starting on the 14 November.

No need to book, just drop in.  For more info please call 0207 405 2370 (Option 2)
