Eid-ul-Fitr

There are two Eid’s that Muslims celebrate throughout the year. The first is Eid-ul-Fitr, this marks the end of Ramadan (a month of fasting, and becoming closer to God).

It is a day of feasting and celebrating the acheivements and blessings received during the month of fasting. People celebrate by dressing up in new clothes, visiting loved ones and making and eating lots of scrumptious food!

Eid-ul-Adha is the second Eid, which is celebrated a few months later.
