Tai Chi Yang style
This is a short, beginner’s course on Yang- style Tai chi. The fundamental principles of this art will be explored through a variety of mild, relaxing yet tonifying exercises (commonly known as Chi Kung) as well as movements and postures taken from the Yang- style short form. The execution of all these exercises requires a coordination of movement and breathing with a fully aware, meditative manner.
This is a beginner’s course although people with experience are also welcome.
Loose, comfortable clothing should be worn. Avoid eating heavy meals prior to the class.
The sessions are free, led by Camden Adult Learning tutor Nik Trigkatzis.
Mondays at 1pm – 2pm, starting 9th May through to 4th July with a break for half term.
