ApArt Club – online arts for while we’re apart
While we can’t be physically together, we’re running ApArt Club, an online and virtual programme of creative activities which will keep us all connected and creative in a virtual space.

Getting involved:
– Live Zoom workshop sessions:
– Children’s art group – ages 5 – 12 – Tuesday’s 2.30 – 3.30pm
– Make and Mend Group – ages 18+ – Tuesday’s 4pm – 5.30pm
– Online Carers Art Group – ages 18+ – Wednesday’s 10am – 12pm and via Whatsapp
– Online autism art groups – 6 – 18 – Thursday afternoon 4 – 6.30pm
– Online Media Arts Club – ages 13 – 18 – Wednesday’s 4 – 6pm – see current project and blog here
– Online Digital Workshops – 18+ – Thursdays 3-4.30pm – see current project and blog here

– Virtual Creative Writing group for over 60s
We’re continuing of offer a space for our over 60s to get creative. Rachel our writing tutor is setting fortnightly writing exercises, and will be on hand via email to answer questions. We’ll also be adding work to our blog curated by Rachel, so we can keep up to speed with what everyone is doing.
– Instagram live workshops
We’ll be doing live workshops on our arts Instagram channel @hca_1aarts, follow us for more information and to find out what’s coming up.
– Community Cards project
We want to help keep everyone connected even though we’re apart. We’re asking as many of you as possible to make a card, or multiple cards if you like, for older people in our community. The cards should bring a smile to a isolating older person, and help them feel connected to the outside world.
– Creative ideas packs
We’ll be adding packs here over the next few weeks to give you tips and ideas on games to play and art activities that you can do while you’re inside. Just click the links below to download.
