Tae Kwondo classes for boys and girls from 4 to 14 years old. Learn kicks and punches, improve flexibility, coordination and confidence.

North London and Camden's best ballet classes for boys and girls from 4 to 14 years old. Holborn's HCA Ballet company explores creative expression, musicality, choreography and performing skills alongside ballet technique.

Holborn Gymnastics Club

 

Holborn Gymnastics club aims to provide local children and young people with the opportunity to access quality, fun, safe and progressive gymnastics sessions. The club promotes and delivers gymnastics in a safe and fun environment to enable each child to achieve their potential.

 

The club delivers 15 sessions every week. From Pre-school to MY Club (sessions for 13-18 years), the club provides a Gymnastics opportunity for everyone.

 

The classes on offer vary from beginner, recreational, advanced recreational, squad, mini squad and MY Club. 

 

The club also delivers gymnastics sessions in local Primary Schools via its schools outreach programme.

 

All coaches are British Gymnastics qualified.

Film Project   After School Pottery Classes in Holborn   HCA activities timetable

1A Arts Summer Film Project

 

Our intensive FREE summer film project in which 14 to 18 year olds are supported by professional filmmakers  to create their own cinematic-quality short film. 2015's offering 'Finding Yourself' screened at the Foundling Museum, Warner Bros and Tate Britain and was a semi-finalist in the 2016 International Open Film Festival (IOFF). 2016's film 'Sketch of a Skit' had it's premiere screening at the Museum of Comedy in September 2016. Registration for our summer 2017 project is now closed.

Our after school Pottery Class is a lot of fun and makes use of our fantastic facilities at 1A Arts. We have a pottery studio, complete with kiln, allowing kid's to explore their creativity. Colleen is our very talented pottery tutor and always makes it a fun experience!

Timetables

 

We have a regular programme of after school activities for children and young people at our 1A-Arts Centre and Bedford House.

 

We also run regular holiday play schemes for children aged 4 to 14 years old where we have lots of fun activities and exciting trips, often in partnership with local organisations. Previous trips have been Legoland, Kew Gardens and a Thames River Boat Trip and activities include Gymnastics, Arts & Crafts and Taekwondo.

This is a blog set up by the young people (13-18 year olds) who come to our weekly Media Arts Club on Wednesday evenings at 1A Arts. 

Summer Film Project 2016
This is a blog set up by the young people (14-18 year olds) who took part in the 2016 summer film project, which was in partnership with the Museum of Comedy. The group named their production company Cannibal Goldfish and have made a comedy-themed film called 'Sketch of a Skit' which premiered at the Museum of Comedy in late September 2016.

Summer Film Project 2015
This is a blog set up by the young people (13-18 year olds) who took part in the 2015 summer film project, which was in partnership with the Foundling Museum. The group named their production company Creative Minds Co and made a documentary on the theme of identity. The film was screened at Warner Bros, the Foundling Museum and Tate Britain and was a semi-finalist in the 2016 International Open Film Festival (IOFF).

This is the film created by young people on the 2015 Summer Film Project. The film was screened at Warner Bros, the Foundling Museum and Tate Britain and was a semi-finalist in the 2016 International Open Film Festival (IOFF).

 

 

Media Arts Club
Our popular weekly sessions for 13-18 year olds encourage young people to experiment with different forms of digital media.

 

Unfortunately our Media Arts Club is not currently running but we hope to resume it in September 2017.
