Community Partnerships

Our older people's service is very active within the local community and we have partnerships with many local organisations and businesses.

  • Saint George the Martyre Church
  • Warner Bros (Tea and Talkies)
  • British Museum
  • Wallace Collection
  • Royal Opera House
  • Saint George the Martyre School

We hold regular events at Millman Street from parties to clothes shopping events. Our partners at Clod Ensemble work with us to put on live acts - anything from Jazz to Skiffle, a String Quartet or Irish Folk.

Warner Bros. host Tea & Talkies where they screen a movie at their offices for 60 local older people and then provide tea and sandwiches!

Each Summer we have outings to seaside locations and places of interest.

HCA Oasis Project

Our garden at Millman Street is lovingly tended by our members and volunteers. We have recently been awarded a small grant from the Olswang Green Seed Fund to make our garden into an urban oasis. We have employed a coordinator for 2 hours a week to develop the space and deliver workshops for our members and other local people. The aim is to encourage wildlife through planting native species and to encourage local people to get green!
